Change your address
Use the change of address form through the USPS to tell the Post Office of your move. This can be done anytime up to 2 days prior to your move.

Insurance
Buyers – Purchase an insurance policy for at least the sales price of the house and request a “binder” as proof of insurance. Your lender may require this.
Sellers – Cancel your insurance policy after the closing. You want to make sure you maintain coverage in case of a delay in closing.
